As part of Pesta Ubin which celebrates all things Ubin, Republic Polytechnic opened to public their very own Quarry for paddlers to paddle in. Our Kayakers jumped on this opportunity and instead of renting a bumboat to Pulau Ubin, we paddled from WV Changi to Jelutong Campsite and hiked to the Quarry. It was a very fun experience as we paddled in Sit on Top (SOT) and tried a variety of ways to capsize the boat including positioning ourselves at the bow of the boat and having up to 5 people on one SOT.
